What begins as justice descends into obsession and forces both Light and L to confront the limits of morality itself. Death Note: The Musical is a musical based on the Japanese manga series of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The score is by Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and book by Ivan Menchell. The musical adaptation of Death Note originally premiered in April 2015, and to mark the performance's 10th anniversary, a new production premiered in Japan at Tokyo Tatemono Brillia HALL featuring new and returning cast members.
